Turkish F-16s switch to national air-to-air missiles PHOTO/VIDEO
The Turkish Armed Forces have started receiving nationally developed “Bozdoğan” and “Gökdoğan” air-to-air missiles.
"We have added the first Turkish air-to-air missile Bozdoğan, 'within visual contact', and the first air-to-air missile Gökdoğan, 'beyond visual contact', to our arsenal," Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacir announced at the 61st anniversary ceremony of defence company TÜBİTAK, Caliber.Az reports, citing the X page of SavunmaSanayiST.com.

Earlier it was reported that a contract has been prepared to integrate “Bozdoğan” and “Gökdoğan” missiles into 25 aircraft and F-16 PO-IIIs in line with the needs of the Air Force Command. It was signed in July 2023.
