Turkish FM discusses Azerbaijani-Armenian normalisation with Russian officials
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during his visit to Russia, engaged in discussions regarding Azerbaijani-Armenian normalisation with key Russian officials.
Fidan met with Sergei Naryshkin, the Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS), in Moscow.
According to Caliber.Az, citing diplomatic sources from Sabah newspaper, Fidan also held talks with Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu.
The discussions covered a range of topics including the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, the situation in the Gaza Strip, developments in Syria, and negotiations for a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
As part of his visit, Fidan will participate in the BRICS+ foreign ministers' meeting in Nizhny Novgorod and is scheduled to meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.
