Turkish FM offers condolences to Hamas official over son’s death

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan paid a condolence visit in Doha to Khalil al-Hayya, a member of Hamas’ political bureau, following the death of al-Hayya’s son, according to Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry.

“Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan paid a condolence visit to Halil el-Hayya, Member of Hamas Political Bureau, in Doha,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry wrote on X, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the ministry, Fidan expressed condolences over the death of al-Hayya’s son, who was killed in an Israeli strike.
