Turkish football players injured in Sivas road accident, one in serious condition PHOTO
A road traffic accident involving a taxi and a passenger car has occurred in the Turkish city of Sivas, leaving six people injured, including four football players.
The crash took place on the Ankara-Erzincan highway, opposite the training facility of football club Sivasspor. Medical teams, firefighters, and search-and-rescue units from AFAD were dispatched to the scene, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.

As a result of the accident, both drivers and four players from the Sivasspor academy — Ayaz Şentürk, Burak Şahin, Ebubekir Atıcı, and Ahmet Talha Yılmaz — were injured.
All of the injured were taken to hospitals in the city. The condition of Burak Şahin is reported to be serious. According to preliminary information, the players were heading to the club complex at the time of the crash.
