Turkish forces seize weapons cache in PKK hideouts in Iraq VIDEO
The Turkish Armed Forces have seized a cache of weapons belonging to PKK terrorists during search and verification activities in the Pençe-Kilit (Claw-Lock) operation area in northern Iraq.
The Turkish Ministry of National Defence announced the achievement on its X page, per Caliber.Az.
“The Turkish Armed Forces continue search and verification activities in northern Iraq without interruption. Our servicemen discovered a new cave belonging to terrorists in the Pençe-Kilit operation area. Weapons, ammunition and essential items were seized from the cave, which was rendered unusable,” the report says.

The Pençe-Kilit Operation is a comprehensive military campaign by the Turkish Armed Forces in northern Iraq, specifically in the regions of Metina, Zap, and Avaşin-Basyan, against the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party). The operation began on April 18, 2022, and aims to secure Türkiye's borders by neutralising terrorist elements.
