In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the US, and the EU – has been responsible for the deaths of some 40,000 people, including innocent women, children, and infants.
The PKK has also been responsible for numerous kidnappings, extortion schemes, and other criminal activities that have affected the civilian population in Kurdish-majority areas and beyond.
