Turkish Foreign Ministry: OTS serves ensuring global peace, stability
The Turkish Foreign Ministry has said that the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) serves the cause of ensuring global peace and stability.
The ministry made the remarks in a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Declaration adopted in 2009, which laid the foundations for the creation of the OTS, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry’s X social media account.

“The process that we started in 1992 with the holding of Summits of heads of state of Turkic-speaking countries has led to the fact that today we have a full-fledged international organization,” the statement says.
The department noted that this became possible “thanks to the strong will and joint efforts” of the OTS member countries.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry emphasized that the OTS strives to develop and deepen cooperation between members of the association at an accelerated pace, as well as to serve the cause of ensuring peace and stability throughout the world as a responsible international and regional actor.
“Türkiye will continue steps aimed at making the Turkic world even stronger through joint efforts and developing cooperation (between the states of the Turkic world),” the message reads.
