Türkiye, Georgia coordinate rescue efforts after C130 plane crash
Türkiye’s Interior Minister, Ali Yerlikaya, held a phone conversation with his Georgian counterpart, Gela Geladze, following the crash of a Turkish C130 military cargo plane near the Georgia-Azerbaijan border.
Yerlikaya shared details of the conversation on his social media page on X, Caliber.Az reports.

"With deep sorrow, I learned that our C130 military cargo plane, belonging to the Ministry of National Defence and en route to our country from Azerbaijan, crashed on the Georgia-Azerbaijan border. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. I spoke by phone with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Gela Geladze. The minister is also heading to the site of the incident," the Turkish minister noted.
