Turkish intel chief meets Libya’s top military official for talks on security PHOTO

Head of Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organisation (MIT) İbrahim Kalın held talks with Saddam Haftar, deputy commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), in Benghazi to discuss efforts to support stability in Libya, Turkish media reported.

The meeting focused on possible steps to bring together Libya’s rival eastern and western political and military institutions under a unified structure.

The two sides also discussed Türkiye–Libya relations and opportunities to expand cooperation in areas including security and economic development.
