Turkish intelligence neutralizes two female PKK terrorists PHOTO
Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has neutralized Zeynep Aslan and Zelîha Mahçup, active members of the PKK/KADEK terrorist organization, in northern Iraq.
Investigations carried out by MIT revealed that Aslan and Mahçup, who were part of an armed women's terrorist group, had undergone training to carry out attacks on strategic targets in Türkiye, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.
Both terrorists were neutralized in a targeted operation in Hakurk.
Notably, PKK has long utilized northern Iraq, close to the Turkish border, as a stronghold for planning attacks against Türkiye.
Over its 40-year campaign of terror against Türkiye, the PKK—classified as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the US, and the EU—has been responsible for the deaths of over 40,000 people, including women, children, infants, and the elderly.
