Turkish leader gifts Togg electric car to Indonesian president, Malaysian PM PHOTO
During his visit to Indonesia, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has presented the Turkish Togg electric car to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
President Erdogan met with his Indonesian counterpart at the Bogor Presidential Palace in Jakarta, presenting the gift following the first meeting of the High-Level Cooperation Council and a joint press conference, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.
While inspecting the car in the garden of the presidential palace, Erdogan and Subianto had a conversation.
Providing Subianto with details about Togg's features, Erdogan said, "When you use it, you'll see that it’s magnificent. You won’t hear any sound from it."
Additionally, President Erdogan gifted Togg electric car to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Notably, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim shared photos of himself and President Erdogan driving the electric car on his social media, joking, "I’m surprised you trust me to drive." Anwar added that in his daily life, he seldom drives.
