Turkish Navy flagship arrives in Izmir PHOTO/VIDEO

TCG Anadolu - the largest ship of the Turkish Navy and the world's first aircraft carrier, on the deck of which attack UAVs are placed, has arrived from Istanbul to Izmir, where the vessel will be open to the public.

The  Turkish National Defence Ministry announced this on its Twitter page, Caliber.Az reports.

The vessel, which went on combat duty on April 10, arrived in the port of Alsancak. The ship is guarded by Turkish Coast Guard boats.

The ship will be open to the public after the press conference, which will take place on May 3. The domestic Altay tank will also be presented on the ship.
