Turkish Navy flagship to participate in major naval drills for first time
The TCG ANADOLU multi-purpose landing ship, which entered service with the Turkish Navy on April 10, 2023, is preparing for the first exercises.

The first mission of the TCG ANADOLU (L400) multi-purpose amphibious assault ship will be the participation in the DENIZKURDU-I and II / 2023 exercises, which will be held from June 1 to 4, 2023 and from June 6 to 12, 2023.
It is planned to involve 113 surface ships, 9 submarines, 59 aircraft, 35 helicopters, 19 unmanned aerial vehicles and about 18,000 personnel (marine units, SAT-SAS naval special forces groups and coastal units) in the exercises.
