Turkish navy to lead naval parade through Bosphorus
In celebration of the 487th anniversary of the Preveza Naval Victory and Navy Day, the Turkish Navy will conduct a large-scale naval parade in the Bosphorus Strait on September 27.
Fifteen naval vessels will participate in the parade, sailing under the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Caliber.Az reports per teh Turkish defence minsitry on X.

The Turkish Navy will lead the procession, which will feature a ceremonial salute to the tomb of Admiral Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha at 11:00 local time, honouring the legendary Ottoman admiral credited with the victory at the Battle of Preveza in 1538.
The Ministry of National Defence has invited the public to witness the commemorative events, marking one of the most significant naval battles in Turkish maritime history.
