20 June 2022 11:19
The Turkish law enforcement forces have detained two Interpol-wanted foreign terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group in Ankara.
While conducting two respective operations in Ankara, three suspects were arrested, two of whom were wanted with a red notice, according to locally-based news service NTV Haber.
The suspects, identified in recent years as members of a terrorist organisation in conflict zones, were taken to a police station for testimony. In another police operation, a foreign citizen was detained, who shared posts on social networks on behalf of ISIS and had information about recruiters.
