Turkish police capture over 200 drug traffickers in covert Istanbul operation VIDEO
A large-scale drug bust has taken place in Istanbul, with over 200 individuals arrested in connection with illegal drug trafficking.
Turkish Minister of the Interior, Ali Yerlikaya announced on X page that, the police seized a significant quantity of narcotics and psychotropic tablets during the operation, Caliber.Az reports.

The operation, named NARKOKAPAN-10, targeted drug dealers in the Umraniye district of Istanbul.
In total, 213 suspects were detained, with 197 individuals being arrested. Legal action has been taken against 13 others, who have been placed under judicial control, Yerlikaya confirmed.
