Turkish police detain 13 suspects in ISIS-linked counterterrorism operation PHOTO
Turkish security forces have detained 13 people with alleged links to the terrorist group ISIS during a counterterrorism operation in the northwestern provinces of Düzce and Bursa.
The operation was conducted under the coordination of the Düzce Chief Prosecutor's Office as part of an investigation into the activities of the extremist group, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

Officers from the Turkish Intelligence Directorate and the Counterterrorism Directorate, supported by special forces, carried out simultaneous raids on pre-identified addresses in the two provinces.
The operation resulted in the detention of 13 suspects, authorities said.
Following the completion of initial legal procedures, all of the detainees were transferred to the judicial authorities for further proceedings.
