Turkish president heads to Netherlands for NATO summit
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is set to visit the Netherlands on June 24 to participate in the NATO summit, which comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.
During the summit, Erdoğan will address the leaders' session and is expected to convey Türkiye’s key messages. He will also hold a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the gathering, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.
The summit, taking place in The Hague, will bring together heads of state and government from NATO’s 32 member states and partner countries.
According to Turkish Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, the discussions will include a strategic-level exchange of views on the various threats and risks confronting the Euro-Atlantic region.
The next NATO summit will be hosted by Türkiye.
