Peskov: Zelenskyy сan сome to Moscow to meet Putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy can travel to Moscow if he genuinely wants to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, responding to Zelenskyy’s proposal for a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Miami.

“If he really wants to meet with Putin, then Putin said earlier that he can fly to Moscow,” Peskov said.

The Kremlin has repeatedly said it is prepared to receive Zelenskyy in Moscow.

Axios reported in August that the CIA director had proposed a three-way meeting involving the presidents of the United States, Russia and Ukraine. U.S. President Donald Trump has described the mutual dislike between Putin and Zelenskyy as the main obstacle to resolving the military conflict.
