Turkish president highlights growing importance of Middle Corridor
The importance of the Middle Corridor, which passes through the Caspian Sea and serves as a modern alternative to the Silk Road, is growing every day, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stated.
During a press conference following talks with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan, he said Türkiye will continue, together with Kazakhstan and other partners, to stimulate the development of this corridor to promote cargo transportation, Caliber.Az reports, citing Akorda.
According to him, in the area stretching from the Mediterranean Sea to Central Asia, Türkiye aims to elevate its relations to a new level under the motto of unity in language, thought and action.
“We consider it our shared responsibility to pass on the cultural values of the Turkic world, the ideas of great figures, their works and spiritual heritage to future generations,” the Turkish leader noted.
