Turkish president, North Macedonian PM set to sign joint political declaration following talks PHOTO
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski have discussed the key issues of mutual interest at the Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul.
The discussions were held behind closed doors, with no media access. The meeting was attended by key Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Murat Kurum, Head of the Presidential Communications Directorate Fahrettin Altun, and President Erdoğan’s Chief Adviser on National Security and Foreign Policy, Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç.
After the private talks, the leaders of the two countries are expected to participate in a working dinner. They are also set to sign a joint political declaration and address the press in a joint conference to outline the results of their discussions.
