Turkish president slams international community due to 30-year occupation of Azerbaijani lands
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that it is hard to be strong at the negotiating table without being strong on the battlefield.
“The most striking example is the liberation of the occupied Azerbaijani territories,” Report informs referring to President Erdogan’s statement made at the 13th conference of Turkish ambassadors to foreign countries.
“The international community has not taken any steps in connection with almost 30 year-occupation, massacre and genocide. Our Azerbaijani brothers were forced to live for years with the bitterness of occupation and losses. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces, through Türkiye’s support, managed to put an end to this injustice. As a result of the 44-day legendary struggle, Karabakh was liberated, the 30-year occupation ended,” the president added.
