Turkish president to visit Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan for official talks

President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan from February 10 to 13 as part of official visits at the invitation of the leaders of these countries, as announced by Fahrettin Altun, Head of the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidency.

The visits will include key discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in various fields, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish media.

Altun emphasized that the meetings will focus on implementing concrete projects to deepen collaboration.

He noted that during the visits, the president will chair the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meetings in Indonesia and Pakistan.

Altun added that multiple bilateral agreements are expected to be signed, along with meetings with the business communities of these countries.

Additionally, the talks will address major regional and global issues, including the situation in Gaza.

This visit comes at the invitation of the leaders of these nations.

President Erdoğan will commence his tour in Kuala Lumpur, engaging in discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation.

Following Malaysia, he will travel to Jakarta to co-chair a High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting, focusing on advancing collaborative projects and signing agreements across various sectors.

The final leg of the tour will be in Islamabad, where President Erdoğan will co-chair another High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting, with an agenda to bolster strategic partnerships and formalize agreements to solidify bilateral ties.

Throughout these visits, President Erdoğan is expected to meet with business leaders to promote economic collaboration and discuss regional and global issues, with a particular emphasis on the situation in Gaza.
