Turkish, Russian foreign ministries condemn deadly attack on Azerbaijani embassy in Iran

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has made a phone call to his Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

The sides discussed on January 27 the deadly attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran.

"We strongly condemn the treacherous attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran and always support Can [dear] Azerbaijan," Cavusoglu said, TRT Haber informs.

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also commented on the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran.

“We are shocked by another attack on the Azerbaijani embassy, during which a security officer was killed. We express our condolences and support to our Azerbaijani colleagues! Later we will give a detailed comment on this matter,” she wrote, according to Caliber.Az.
