Turkish soldier dies in traffic incident near Iranian border

In eastern Türkiye, Sergeant Yusuf Acay tragically lost his life in a traffic accident involving a military vehicle, the Ministry of National Defence of Türkiye confirmed.

The incident took place on March 24 in the Dogubeyazit district of Ağrı province, close to the border with Iran.

Türkiye’s Minister of National Defence, Yaşar Güler, expressed his condolences to Sergeant Acay’s family and loved ones, extending sympathy to the entire Turkish nation.
