Turkish special forces eliminate 10 terrorists in Syria
The special forces of the Turkish Armed Forces eliminated 10 militants of the YPG (the Syrian branch of the PKK terrorist organization) in the zones of anti-terror operations, code-named “Barış Pınarı” (Peace Spring) and “Zeytin Dalı” (Olive Branch), in northern Syria.
“The PKK/YPG militants tried to infiltrate the areas controlled by the Turkish army and launch an offensive, but were detected in a timely manner,” Turkish Ministry of National Defence reported on its Twitter page, Caliber.Az informs.
Turkish Armed Forces are currently conducting also the “Pençe-Kilit” (Claw-Lock) anti-terror operation against the PKK militants in northern Iraq. The country’s Interior Ministry recently launched the “Eren Abluka-2” (Eren Blockade-2) anti-terror operation within the country’s borders, as well.
