Turkish Special Forces seize PKK weapons cache in northern Iraq
During search and verification operations in the Pençe-Kilit (Claw Lock) Operation zone in northern Iraq, Turkish special forces seized a significant cache of weapons belonging to PKK terrorists.
The Turkish Ministry of National Defence announced the seizure on its social network page on X, Caliber.Az reports.

The seized ammunition included:
- 14 anti-tank rounds and one anti-personnel round for the RPG-7 grenade launcher
- 30 cartridges of 12.7 mm calibres
- 7 anti-personnel pressure mine assemblies
- Surprise IED unit with 7 detonating charges
- 17 rockets
- 16 Alpha-fire units
- 3 mines
- A two-piece umbrella
- A large quantity of battery packs and materials used in the manufacture of IEDs
This operation marks a significant success in Turkey's ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and secure the region.
