Turkish, Ukrainian ministers discuss grain shipment

Turkish National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar has held phone talks with Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov and Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov.

The views on preparation for the grain shipment and the activity of the Joint Coordination Centre in Türkiye’s Istanbul city were exchanged during the talks on July 31, Anadolu Agency reports referring to the Turkish Defence Ministry.

According to the ministers, the technical part of the issue has been completed. The grain shipment is planned to begin as soon as possible after the preparatory work.
