Türkiye: At least 60 detained in sweeping anti-drug crackdown

At least 60 people have been detained in a large-scale operation targeting drug trafficking across 20 provinces in Türkiye, the country's Interior Ministry says.
The suspects allegedly sold drugs through social media and messaging apps, as well as being involved in the illegal cultivation of cannabis and skunk, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.
Authorities seized 580 kg of narcotics and 62,180 tablets during the operation. They also destroyed 6.747 million cannabis and skunk plants.
Of those detained, 41 were arrested, while the remaining 19 were placed under judicial control, the ministry said.
