Türkiye closes airspace for Armenian airline
“FLYONE Armenia” airline company has canceled flights to Beirut, Lebanon until July 21, 2022 due to Türkiye's ban.
“The Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation did not allow 'FLYONE Armenia' to make flights to Lebanon over Turkish airspace. The airline is forced to cancel Yerevan-Beirut-Yerevan flights until July 21 due to the current situation,” the airline company said, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Armenian media.
The airline company noted that Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan, Yerevan-Paris-Yerevan and Yerevan-Lyon-Yerevan flights are made according to the schedule.
The airline company promised to give additional information about the resumption of flights to Beirut. Passengers are offered to reschedule their flights or get a ticket refund.
"FLYONE Armenia" received its Air Operator Certificate on October 27, 2021. The company makes flights to Moscow, Paris, Lyon, Tbilisi, Istanbul, Sochi. The airline's fleet consists of Airbus A320 aircraft.
