During the trials, a submarine platform equipped with Meteksan Savunma’s underwater hydroacoustic systems served as an auxiliary vessel, with the company confirming that the tests demonstrated the effectiveness and compatibility of its range of underwater acoustic solutions across different maritime platforms.
Defence company emphasised its pride in being a reliable technological partner for national naval projects and expressed gratitude to all organisations involved in the program’s implementation.
Meteksan Savunma was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of Bilkent Holding to consolidate and coordinate high-tech defence-industry projects under a single roof.
The company develops and manufactures a broad array of indigenous defence systems — including radar, electro-optic surveillance, communication systems, underwater‑acoustic (sonar) systems and platform simulators — for surface vessels, submarines, helicopters, UAVs and missile platforms.
Moreover, Meteksan has delivered over 100 projects domestically and exported its systems to allied and partner nations, contributing not only to Turkish Armed Forces capacities but also to Türkiye’s defence-industry export footprint.
