Türkiye condemns terrorist attack near Russian Embassy in Kabul
The Turkish Foreign Ministry has expressed its condolences to Russia in connection with the fatal explosion near the building of the Russian embassy in the Afghan capital Kabul.
“We have learned with sadness that a suicide attack that took place today (September 5) in the vicinity of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Kabul has claimed many lives, including members of the said Embassy, and has injured many others,” the ministry said in a statement, Caliber.Az informs.
“We strongly condemn this terrorist attack; offer our condolences to the Russian Federation and the Afghan people, and wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
Information about the deadly explosion made headlines on September 5. According to preliminary data, two employees of the Russian diplomatic mission were killed as a result of the incident. The Russian Foreign Ministry pledged to find and punish the organizers and perpetrators of the explosion.
