The PNS Khaibar is part of the MİLGEM program, one of Türkiye’s largest defence exports to date. The project involves the construction of four upgraded MİLGEM-class corvettes for the Pakistani Navy, designed to enhance Pakistan's maritime defence capabilities.
These modern warships are equipped with advanced radar, combat systems, and weaponry, providing a critical boost to Pakistan's naval fleet.
The first ship of the MİLGEM series, PNS Babur, was delivered earlier, and the remaining vessels are expected to follow in the coming years.
