Türkiye conducts largest naval drills in Mediterranean Sea PHOTO
Türkiye is holding naval exercises DOĞU AKDENİZ-2023 (“EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN-2023”).
The exercise, taking place from November 17 to 25, involves the Navy of the Department of National Defense and the Coast Guard, Caliber.Az reports, citing Defense Turk’s X page.

The exercise involved 24 Navy ships, 10 helicopters, five UAVs, four submarines, two SAS groups and three SAT (marine special forces) groups, an airborne infantry battalion, three maritime patrol aircraft, two Army helicopters, 20 units of F-16 fighter jets from Air Force personnel, three air warning aircraft and three coast guard boats from the Coast Guard Command.
