Türkiye continues to modernize C-130 military plane fleet PHOTO

Türkiye has upgraded another C-130E/B military transport aircraft to meet international flight requirements.

According to DefenceTurk, this was fulfilled within the framework of the binding contract on the modernization of the Turkish Airforce’s C-130E/B planes signed between the Defense Industry Administration and Turkish Aerospace Industries in December 2006, referred to as ERCİYES.

In total, the modernization of 13 C-130E and 6 C-130B planes is scheduled to take place under the contract terms, with the upgrade of 23 systems and 117 components.

Out of the 19 planes included in the ERCİYES project, the modernization of 11 aircraft has been completed.
