Türkiye delivers 30 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Venezuela
Türkiye has delivered a new consignment of humanitarian aid to Venezuela, comprising 30 tonnes of relief supplies, according to Turkish broadcaster TRT Haber.
The shipment arrived in Caracas aboard two Turkish military transport aircraft and was received at the airport by Türkiye's ambassador to Venezuela, Naji Aydan Karamanoglu.
The aid package included 275 tents provided by Türkiye's Ministry of the Interior and the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), as well as seven tonnes of medicines donated by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Iván Gil Pinto thanked Türkiye for its assistance, expressing particular appreciation for the involvement of Turkish specialists in search and rescue operations.
