Türkiye demonstrates KARGU drone swarm attack PHOTO / VIDEO
Turkish defence company STM showcased its tactical drones during live-fire exercises at the Ateş Serbest-2025 drills.
During the exercises, a group of 12 KARGU kamikaze drones carried out a coordinated swarm attack. Controlled by a single operator, the drones autonomously took off, navigated between platforms, maintained communication, flew in three different formations, and successfully struck designated targets, Caliber.Az reports, citing Defence Turk’s social media page.

The demonstration highlighted STM’s contribution to Türkiye’s tactical strike capabilities as well as reconnaissance, surveillance, and intelligence operations. The combination of autonomous swarm tactics, radio-electronic warfare-resistant control channels, and a diverse family of loitering and strike drones demonstrates Türkiye’s growing potential in tactical unmanned systems.
