Türkiye denies reports of illegal border crossings from Iran PHOTO

The Turkish Centre for Combating Disinformation has stated that images circulating on social media depicting alleged illegal crossings of the Turkish border are old and are being reposted without current context, Khabar Fouri reports.

According to official data, there is no evidence that anyone has illegally crossed the Turkish border from Iran. 

The circulated footage lacks accurate timestamps or location details and is being shared to create a false impression of the border situation.

The statement also emphasised that Türkiye’s borders are monitored 24/7 using multi-layered security systems. The public is advised to rely only on official announcements and to ignore unverified posts.
