Türkiye detains 20 in nationwide operations targeting FETÖ members
Turkish authorities have detained 20 suspects across several provinces as part of an ongoing investigation into individuals accused of links to the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ).
According to the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, arrest warrants were issued for 25 suspects alleged to have served in the movement’s covert network within the Turkish Armed Forcesç Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.
Acting on these warrants, police teams from the Konya Provincial Police Department conducted coordinated raids in nine provinces, including Konya, Ankara, Kirikkale, İzmir, Manisa, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Erzurum, and Karaman.
Officials reported that the detained individuals are currently undergoing police procedures. Efforts are continuing to locate and detain the remaining five suspects who were not found at their registered addresses.
