Türkiye improves BARKAN unmanned ground vehicle PHOTO/VIDEO
BARKAN multi-role unmanned ground combat vehicle, developed by HAVELSAN, is the first in its class that can fire ammunition by using a hydrogen propulsion system developed by Gurbag Defence and can also use kamikaze drones.
The BARKAN unmanned ground vehicle, equipped with two launchers, can simultaneously launch laser-guided mini-missiles from one launcher and loitering munitions from another launcher thanks to a hydrogen propulsion system, Caliber.Az reports citing HAVELSAN’s message on X.

The kamikaze drone, capable of performing tasks within a radius of 15 kilometres, can also be used for reconnaissance and surveillance purposes thanks to its electric propulsion system, reaches a flight altitude of 3,000 metres and remains in the air for 40 minutes.
BARKAN, as an important element of the HAVELSAN concept, can fulfil joint operations with other autonomous vehicles by using its swarm infrastructure.
