Türkiye inducts first domestically built GÖKBEY helicopter into service

Türkiye  has commissioned its first domestically developed T625 GÖKBEY multirole helicopter into service.

The helicopter has been delivered to the Land Forces and officially entered operational use. The project’s localisation level exceeds 70%, and is expected to rise to over 80% following the integration of the indigenous TS1400 engine.

The delivery is part of a large-scale programme envisaging the delivery of 83 helicopters to various Turkish state institutions.
