Türkiye introduces visa-free travel for some Syrian citizens

Türkiye has introduced visa-free travel for Syrian citizens holding diplomatic passports.

The corresponding decree by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was published in the government’s official gazette.

The exemption also covers tourist trips of up to 90 days within any 180-day period, as well as transit through Türkiye for holders of such passports.
