Türkiye kills one of PKK leaders as part of operation
Turkish special services have conducted a successful operation in northern Iraq to kill Delal Azizoglu, who was one of the leaders of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorist organisation.
The officers of the Turkish National Intelligence Organisation organised the operation based on the analysis of data on the arrival of the terrorist in Sulaymaniyah city, Ankara’s security organisations told Anadolu.
Delal Azizoglu has joined a terrorist organisation since 1992. She was engaged in propaganda of a terrorist organisation in European countries, in particular, in Belgium, in certain years. PKK accomplices’ unsanctioned actions in several European cities were associated with her name.
She has recently trained terrorists, including those in Syria.
