Türkiye, Libya discuss regional matters, cooperation PHOTO

Turkish National Intelligence Organisation (MIT) head, İbrahim Kalın, has met with the commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Khalifa Haftar, to discuss regional developments and bilateral cooperation, a Turkish newspaper writes. 

Earlier, it was reported that Turkish and Libyan military delegations met during the visit of the Interim Government Group to the TCG Kınalıada at the port of Benghazi.

The ratification of the maritime jurisdiction delimitation agreement by the eastern Libyan parliament is expected soon. War-torn Libya remains divided between two rival governments — in Benghazi in the east and the capital Tripoli in the west.
