"Türkiye continues to make an indispensable contribution to NATO’s activities," Ministry said.
"As the second-largest military power in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Türkiye remains among the top five countries in terms of its contributions to NATO operations and missions."
The Ministry also highlighted Türkiye's active participation in NATO exercises, hosting vital NATO headquarters and agencies on its soil, and providing significant contributions in terms of personnel, troops, and the alliance's budget.
NATO was established 76 years ago as a collective defence pact against the Soviet Union, and Türkiye’s strategic location and military capabilities have positioned it as a vital member of the alliance throughout the decades.
