Türkiye receives 40 Interpol-listed fugitives from multiple countries VIDEO

Türkiye has taken custody of 40 individuals wanted internationally through Interpol red notices, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced.

According to Yerlikaya's post on X, the fugitives were delivered from several countries, including Georgia (27 people), Germany (4), Bulgaria (3), as well as the United States, Croatia, Switzerland, Montenegro, Russia, and Greece, Caliber.Az reports.

The individuals are accused of a range of serious crimes, including intentional murder and attempted murder, participation in criminal organizations, illegal drug trafficking, theft, robbery, fraud, cybercrime, forgery of official documents, illegal seizure of personal data, terrorism propaganda, sexual exploitation, incitement to prostitution, illegal possession of weapons, and violations of personal freedom and inviolability.

Turkish authorities said the operation underscores their ongoing cooperation with international law enforcement agencies in apprehending fugitives.
