Türkiye refutes claims of US bombers at southern airbase

The Turkish presidential administration has officially denied reports that US bombers landed at a southern airbase amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran.

The Centre for Combating Disinformation under the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of Türkiye clarified that claims suggesting B-1B Lancer bombers are actively taking off and landing at Incirlik Air Base are false, TASS reports.

It stressed that all photos and videos circulated in connection with these reports are outdated and relate only to planned, routine training exercises.

“They are not current. Furthermore, they have no connection to ongoing regional conflicts,” the centre said, emphasizing the misinformation surrounding the claims.
