Türkiye reveals its secret unmanned kamikaze maritime drone PHOTO/VIDEO
Türkiye has unveiled KAMA, a kamikaze unmanned maritime drone from the ULAQ series developed by ARES Shipyard and Meteksan Defense.
"The family of ULAQ, Türkiye’s first armed unmanned naval vessel continues to expand. We realise how important the ULAQ unmanned naval vessel is to the defence of our country. We are witnessing how asymmetric applications can change the course of an operation and even war. We offer the ULAQ KAMA unmanned naval kamikaze drone in the service of our country and our allies, combining the most advanced research conducted in this context with the experience we have gained in the production of the ULAQ series of unmanned ships,” ARES CEO Utku Alanç and Meteksan Defense CEO Selcuk Kerem Alparslan said, Caliber.Az reports per SavunmaSanayiST.com on Twitter.

ULAQ KAMA is a deterrent weapon with long range provided by a continuous communications network, low silhouette, small size, explosive payload. It is also a reconnaissance and surveillance platform thanks to its sensor devices.
Emphasising that one of the most important elements of asymmetric warfare is directly proportional to the number of platforms, representatives of ARES and Meteksan noted that they could deliver more than 100 ULAQ KAMA kamikaze maritime drones to the Turkish Armed Forces in less than a year after announcing their need.
