Türkiye's Akar calls on allies to stop supporting terrorists
Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar called on Ankara's allies to stop supporting terrorists.
Akar assured that the Turkish army has carried out and will continue to conduct anti-terrorist operations "at the right time and in the right place", Caliber.Az informs, citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defence's message on Twitter.
“The sole purpose of the operations of the Turkish Armed Forces is to protect the rights and interests of the country. We will not allow the formation of a zone controlled by terrorists near our borders,” the Turkish minister warned.

According to him, only within the framework of the ongoing anti-terrorist operation Pençe-Kilit (Claw-Lock), the Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 491 militants in northern Iraq.
He noted that the only army that actually fought the Daesh terrorists in Syria was the Turkish Armed Forces.
“It was our army that eliminated 4,500 terrorists,” Akar recalled.
He also reminded Ankara's agreements with a number of foreign partners, including the United States and Russia, on Syria, and noted that Tцклшну expects its partners to fulfil their obligations.
