Türkiye’s ASELSAN signs contracts with clients in Asia, Middle East PHOTO/VIDEO

Türkiye’s ASELSAN defence company has signed a $79.28 million contract with clients in Asia and the Middle East to export the FERSAH 100-N/MF sonar system.

“The foreign sales contracts totaling $79,277,900 have been signed for the export of electronic warfare systems, radars, sonar systems and targeting systems for ASELSAN customers in Asia and the Middle East,” Caliber.Az reports citing the message of SavunmaSanayiST.com on X.

“The FERSAH 100-N/MF hull-mounted anti-submarine warfare hydroacoustic system will be exported upon these contracts for the first time,” the message says.

The FERSAH anti-submarine warfare sonar system can detect, analyze and track underwater threats such as submarines and explosive devices in the active mode, and surface ships and torpedoes in the passive mode.

Moreover, the system has a sea mine evasion mode.
